Why is this piece sustainable?
This piece is made from organic cotton. It takes an enormous amount of water and chemicals to produce traditional cotton, whereas organic cotton is grown from non-genetically modified plants, and harvested without any toxic pesticides, synthetic fertilisers, or genetically modified seeds. Plus, our supplier is portuguese, which means we reduce the carbon footprint by supplying nationally.
The piece is made in Portugal, by seamstresses that have been working with us since the beginning. That way we can guarentee good working conditions and fair payment, plus it is made with care and love.
We keep in stock one sample of each piece, so when you order online, it might take up to 5 working days to do the shipment, as the piece will be produced specially for you.
