2. Products, availability and prices
Each product page describes the item, available sizes or variants, and price. Colours may appear differently on different screens. Product descriptions and material information form part of the offer. Availability can change before an order is completed. If we cannot supply an item after you order, we will contact you about the lawful options, including reimbursement where appropriate.
Retail prices are shown in euros and include VAT. The applicable total, including delivery charges, is shown before you submit an order.
3. Orders and payment
You may place an order without a shopping account. Please review the items and your contact and delivery details at checkout before submitting your order; contact us promptly if you notice an error. Accepted payment methods are shown at checkout. We send an order confirmation and required contract information by a durable means. If an item is unavailable or we need to resolve a problem with your order details, we will contact you while respecting your statutory rights.
4. Delivery and collection
We dispatch orders within five business days; transit time follows dispatch. We deliver to the destinations and at the charges described in our Shipping & Returns page. Where import duties, import taxes or customs charges are payable on arrival, you pay them, subject to amounts we must collect or disclose by law.
When studio collection is available at checkout, collection is at Rua Amarelhe 8C, 1750-321 Lisboa, Monday to Thursday, 10:00–18:30. Your order will be ready within five business days. Please wait for the ready-for-pickup email; no pickup appointment is needed. In-person returns require an appointment arranged by email.
5. Withdrawal, returns and conformity
Consumers who qualify for the statutory distance-sale withdrawal right normally have 14 calendar days after receipt of the goods to notify us without giving a reason. Our Shipping & Returns page explains how to return the goods, return-postage costs and reimbursement. Rights concerning faulty, incorrect or nonconforming goods are separate and are not restricted by the change-of-mind process. For new movable goods sold to consumers in Portugal, the statutory conformity period is three years.
Ready to withdraw from a purchase?
Complete the marked fields in our online form, review your withdrawal statement, then confirm and submit it. No account is needed.
You can also notify us by email at info@duartehajime.com. You do not need to give a reason or wait for our approval to send your notice.
6. Invoices and refunds
We issue an invoice for each order. If you want your Portuguese customer NIF on the invoice, please email us your order number and NIF before the invoice is issued. A refund due under applicable law is processed against the original payment transaction; we then issue the corresponding credit note. Sending a withdrawal notice does not itself process a refund. Please do not send payment-card details by email.
7. Complaints and consumer dispute resolution
Please contact us with your order number so we can review a concern. In Portugal, a consumer may also seek help from a competent consumer alternative dispute resolution entity (resolução alternativa de litígios de consumo, or RAL). The competent centre depends on the circumstances, including territorial scope and the value of the dispute. For an online purchase, the consumer's place of residence can be relevant. The general consumer centres covering Portuguese regions are:
- Lisbon metropolitan area: Centro de Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo de Lisboa (CACCL).
- Porto metropolitan area: Centro de Informação de Consumo e Arbitragem do Porto (CICAP).
- Ave, Tâmega and Sousa area: Centro de Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo do Ave, Tâmega e Sousa (TRIAVE).
- Braga, Viana do Castelo and other municipalities within its stated scope: Centro de Informação, Mediação e Arbitragem de Consumo (CIAB).
- Coimbra area: Centro de Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo da Região de Coimbra (CACRC).
- Algarve: Centro de Informação, Mediação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo do Algarve (CIMAAL).
- Azores: Centro de Informação, Mediação e Arbitragem de Consumo dos Açores (CIMARA).
- Madeira: Centro de Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo da Região Autónoma da Madeira (CACC-RAM).
- Areas without a competent regional centre: Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo (CNIACC), which acts on a residual basis.
Some centres' territories overlap. Check the Direção-Geral do Consumidor's official RAL directory and the relevant centre's scope to identify the competent entity for your case. Listing a centre does not mean that DuarteHajime is a member of it. These options do not remove your right to seek a remedy through the courts.
8. Changes and mandatory rights
The terms presented for your order apply to that order. Later changes do not alter them retrospectively without an express lawful agreement. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
